Bianca Lopez

APRN, MSN, PMHNP-BC

My name is Bianca Lopez and I have been practicing as a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for five years. I have professional psychiatric experience working in corrections, telepsychiatry and outpatient services. I started off as a CNA at Maxine Silva Health Magnet High School for Health Care Professions, working mostly as a tech for an inpatient psychiatric unit while I went to college. I earned my first bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at El Paso in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry in 2005 and earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2009 from the University of Texas at El Paso, which began my professional nursing career. I worked as a trauma nurse, endoscopy nurse, psychiatric nurse, case manager and clinic lead at William Beaumont Army Medical Center for seven years before earning a Master’s in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University in May 2017. I previously opened a private practice clinic prior to the COVID pandemic however closed it to help my children with online school. I am so happy I decided to open my private practice once again in my hometown of El Paso, Texas where I was born and raised because I love my community and I am proud of where I came from. I am a down to earth, caring individual who truly cares about my patients and would be honored to help you with your mental health needs because we all need a little help at times. I know firsthand what it is to have close family members that are dealing with severe mental health issues. At Brighter Days Behavioral Health, you will truly feel the difference.
